Revelation Farm is located in the heart of the beautiful Lanark Highlands, only 15 minutes north of Perth, Ontario and 45 minutes west of Ottawa. Your hosts are Don and Ursula Pidgeon, with their grown children Kristen and Matthew. We have been involved in breeding and showing Arabian and part-arabian sport horses since 1993.
We love the beauty, loyalty, intelligence and stamina of the Arabian horse as well as the power and athleticism of the Warmblood breeds and strive to produce superior athletes who are 'in your pocket' horses. Our horses excel in the sporhorse venues of hunter/jumper and dressage and are amateur-friendly. We are home to 2007 Canadian National Reserve Champion HA Working Hunter JTR, Ranyhyn Teufelchen, bred and raised in Perth Ontario by Pamela Weston. Thank you Pamela for allowing us to purchase this amazing horse! Toi is ridden and owned by 2007 OVAHA HighPoint Junior rider Kristen Pidgeon. Our horses live on rolling pastures and build stamina and strength from the natural hills that they traverse daily. We believe horses should be allowed to be horses, and so they live in a herd environment. They all have tremendous feet - all our show horses (even the hunters) are able to be shown barefoot, and we treat with equine dentistry, chiropractic and massage therapy as required, to keep them healthy and in top shape. Individual training regimes, homegrown organic hay and individual feeding and vitamin supplements keep them in good condition. Our horses are well adjusted and friendly, and the show horses love their jobs.
